Can my Strong receiver be used to receive other channels?
Of course. It can receive any Free-To-Air (unencrypted) channel being broadcast in MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 formats over the satellite that your dish is pointing at. Your Strong receiver may also be used for other pay television services. Please consult your dealer as to what other pay television services will work with your Strong receiver |

My Strong receiver has stopped working. What do I do?
a- Make sure it is connected to the power supply. Check whether the Front Panel display is lighting up. If it is, check the Audio/Video or the RF connection to your television set. Make sure you have selected the correct Audio/Video input or the correct channel for your Receiver, on your television set. If that does not cure the problem, or if the receiver does not power up, you will need to refer the matter to the installer or dealer who set up or sold you the Receiver or Receiving system
b- Please note that Strong products carry a warranty against defects in workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from date of purchase. Strong will repair faulty products free of charge within that period, at its Abuja Service Centre, provided the product has not been tampered with. Please note that power supply problems are excluded from warranty cover because of the unstable and frequently damaging nature of the power supplied by NEPA or generating sets
c- Outside the warranty period, Strong is prepared to repair faulty equipment, for a fair charge. A receiver that has been severely tampered with, or physically damaged, or misused may be beyond repair (i.e. repair costs will probably exceed replacement value)
